Beautified: Pink Palette

With pastels popping up everywhere, I wanted to try incorporating pink into my make-up routine. 
Yes, pink. 
 
Apply concealer and foundation as usual. Don’t forget to start with moisturizer and, if it’s brutally cold, I’ll use Vitamin E oil to give my problem spots an extra surge of moisture.

Before applying any color to my eyelids, I always apply a nude eye-shadow base to my entire lid. Under my eyebrow I switch to a lighter shade, especially focusing under the arch of my eyebrow. Next, I apply eyeliner in a black kohl, including the inner rims of my eyes. Now we’re ready to say hello to our color palette for this look: dreamy pinks and, of course, a rich chocolate brown. 
Brush the darkest brown along the eyeliner to create a softer line. 
I find that darkening the edge of my eye, up until just below the browbone, is the most flattering:

Next I applied a pink cream base (CoverGirl ShadowBlast) as a primer, focusing on my inner to middle eyelid. Then, I enhanced the pigment by gently tapping pink eye shadow over the cream as well. Don’t be afraid to blend colors!

 While blending, I found a deep plum was a perfect color to use where the two colors meet. At this point in the process my eyes look like this:

Contour with bronzer along your cheekbones. 
Then, apply a light pink blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Apply mascara.

Pair with a soft pink lipstick for a romantic day look.
