Get Creative: Get Organized

What Sunday funday?
Looks like someone has organization on her mind.
Look at this oh-so-lovely mess.

What daily household object, found in every home no less,
can handle a mess like this?

Toothpaste!
Toothpaste can act as a jewelry cleaner for inexpensive pieces.
However, special treatment is required for pearls, gold, and silver.
Thanks to this common product, I can now enjoy my sweet jewelry dish- a hand painted piece created by my late grandma.

Turns out, Grandma also had quite the crystal collection.
These playful pieces from her collection are another momento of hers.
Instead of collecting dust keeping them on a shelf, I used the sugar dish to hold Q-tip’s
and the creamer holds bobby pins.

In the spirit of clutter taking over my life cleanliness,
I also tackled my overgrown jewelry tree (seen below) using a hanging organizer.

Earrings all snuggled in their beds…
The remaining earrings hang on a organizer from Marshall’s.

While delicate necklaces remain on said overgrown tree,
chunkier statement necklaces are hung onto a cork board.

Watches and rings were sorted into dividers from Target.

Bracelets were sorted into a Rimax Plastic Storage container.
However, Michael’s or Hobby Lobby are also great alternatives for crafting storage.

You know those tempting $1.80 hair bows at Forever 21?
Clearly a necessity.
Clearly.
They found their way into my Hot Chocolate 15k cup.
..Because let’s face it, what else am I using it for?

The moral of the story?
Organization is so much fun!
Vanessa buys way too much $#!*
Seriously.
