Travel: Dining and Exploring Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival

When we were planning our trip to Walt Disney World, I had no idea it would align with Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival (which runs until May 20). This was my first time attending and I was blown away by the attention to detail.

Thankfully, I stumbled across the Disney Food blog, which offered a detailed look at all of the extra choices during the event.

Let’s start out with my absolute favorite and, ironically, the first station you’ll stumble across. La Isla Fresca is located at the entrance to the World Showcase. Don’t worry, though. You can’t miss these amazing flavors and smells! Must-have item? The Jerk-spice chicken was rich and flavorful! Other items include:

If you continue towards Canada, you’ll stumble across the Pineapple Promenade. Pineapple whip is always a Disney favorite. This one can even come with coconut rum. I opted for the sparkling pineapple.

At The Smokehouse, we ordered the beef brisket burnt ends hash with white cheddar fondue and pickled jalapeños. Although it was a cute spot to sit and relax, this was probably my least favorite item. It was too savory and greasy for my or my boyfriend’s liking. Skip it.
