Yum: Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups

It’s Super Bowl Sunday!
Calories don’t count today, right?
If you’re looking for a last minute recipe, here is one I recently made from the blog,

Baked Buffalo Chicken Wonton Cups

Filling Ingredients
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 cups chopped cooked chicken
4-5 Tablespoons buffalo sauce
1/4 cup ranch dressing
1 Tablespoon chopped green onions
Additional Ingredients
Wonton wrappers
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/8 cup chopped green onions
(Now, if you’re a novice like me you might ask where do you get these wonton wrapper contraptions? Answer: Walmart’s produce section. Guess everyone decided to take a stab at Pinterest recipes because they were sold out of them. I substituted with egg roll wrappers instead.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease a mini muffin tin with non-stick spray.
I cut the egg roll wrappers into four pieces, lined each wrapper into the tin to create a cup.
Lightly spray the cups with non-stick spray and baked for 5 minutes.

Remove from the oven and place a tablespoon of the filling in each cup.
Top with desired amount of cheese. Bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.

The recipe calls for a pinch of green onions to garnish after the wontons are finished baking.
However, I found that if you added them towards the end of baking, they melted into the cheese rather than sitting on top loosely.
