Every year, like clockwork, I rattle a laundry list of resolutions in hopes that my new year will be successful and productive. In 2014, I hoped to learn HTML, complete a third half marathon and, oh yeah, become more personable. Turns out, there are some repeat offenders once you look at 2013 or 2012.
So this year, instead of doing a list of resolutions I wanted to take a moment and appreciate the process. I might not always accomplish the goals by the end of that particular year, but I’m constantly working to make myself better, hone my skills and grow at my own pace. And that’s okay. I think a New Year stresses a fresh start. A blank canvas. The truth is, we’re always growing and there isn’t necessarily a deadline. The important part is we keep aiming higher. We keep getting better. We keep growing stronger.
So here is to making 2015 a year of growth and success. Happy New Year everyone!
