V: Survival of the Fittest

Taking a Sunday flight out of Vegas is like a modern-day pop quiz
on Charles Darwin’s survival of the fittest theory.
Well, I’m still here.

Turns out, the third time is a charm.
Let’s review the Vegas essentials I’ve learned to pack over the years.
Dress: Ross, $12
Yes, I said twelve dollars. I used to splurge on Bebe concoctions drenched in sequins.
This time I bought several inexpensive dresses, guilt-free!
Plus, an LBD is always a wise investment- always.
Craft organization box: Dollar Tree, $1
Perfect for packing plenty of jewelry!
You just never know what you’ll end up wearing.
Sally Hansen’s Airbrush Legs, $5.49
Victoria’s Secret Bronzing Spray, $15.99
Make-up remover, $2.99
Because let’s face it, nothing is real in Vegas.
Especially your bronzed, golden tan.
It wasn’t until I started packing the following items that I realized I was being… old responsible-
Powdered Gatorade packets
Anti-nausea ginger chews
Multi-vitamins
Vitamin B-12
Mouthwash
Sunscreen
Hairspray
Aspirin
And you know what? The combination worked!
So I could focus on the best accessories of all: friends.
