All good things must come to the end.. and that includes spending hours on the couch cheering on our favorite athletes in London.
Overall, these 2012 games were filled with some pretty amazing achievements (and some pretty attractive people)…
Here are some of my favorite moments and people from these Olympics:
Michael Phelps became the most decorated Olympian! Though he started off the games off his game, he finished his career strong and brought home 6 more medals to add to his collection.
Haha, of course I have to put Ryan Lochte (shirtless). Don’t you just love the sport of swimming. We just rather he didn’t sport his extremely tacky grill.
And then there was the breakout star from Aurora, Colorado, Missy Franklin.. she is just adorable. She won the same number of gold medals as Michael Phelps did at these Olympics. One can only imagine what she’ll pull out at the 2016 Olympic games.

Okay, okay, I know.. my favorite moments are mostly just shirtless men. But come on, you can’t resist teen heartthrob Tom Daley (diver for Great Britain). In a close competition, Daley took bronze in the 10 meter platform dive.
And best for last– the USA girls gymnastics team!!
The Fab Five stole the hearts of people across the nation. From Jordyn Wieber not qualifying for the all-arounds to McKayla Maroney settling for silver on the vault, these girls had us on the edge of our seats.
