Here’s the thing about getting older… I find myself coveting fleece onesie’s for Halloween over the overdone, overexposed cookie cutter outfits every basic girl is wearing.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been there. I’ve done that. But I’ve also learned to appreciate all the thoughtful outfits my mom helped put together growing up. I Dream of Jeannie. A Titanic passenger. Yes, I was a strange kid. But I also have a lot of great memories.
There is something so special about putting thought into your outfit. And who says creative can’t still be sexy? My favorite costume, to this day, includes this serving of spaghetti and meatballs-
